Guac That Rocks!

Looking for a great party appetizer? Who doesn’t love guacamole! It’s the perfect food to keep them coming back to bowl and chatting, so try conveniently placing this delicious recipe out on the table next time you have guest.

Remember not everybody like spicy, so take it easy on the cayanne. I like to add my own freshly chopped habanero peppers to give it an extra kick.

I love this OPI nail color. It is one of my favorites and not just because we are partial to gold. It is one of those shades that is just easy to paint on and it practically impossible to mess up unless you just are too impatient to allow it to dry!
OPI colors all come with their own unique name and this one just happens to be “Gift of Gold” … something we can definitely agree with!
Try wearing this next to your next GOLD BUYING GIRL PARTY and giving it away as a hostess gift so they’ll remember you and want to book another!

THE 24 KARROT CUPCAKE RECIPE

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup canola oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups grated carrots (about 5)
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Whisk together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, baking powder, salt, and nutmeg in a medium bowl. In another medium bowl, with an electric mixer on medium speed, beat the eggs, sugar, brown sugar, and canola oil until light and thick. Reduce speed to low and add the flour mixture, beating just until blended. Stir in the vanilla, carrots, and walnuts until well blended.

Line 12 cup cupcake or muffin pan 2/3-full with batter. Bake until the cupcakes are puffed and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, about 20 minutes. Cool the cupcakes completely.

Cream Cheese Frosting

Beat butter and cream cheese at medium speed until creamy (2-3 minutes). Reduce speed to low and add powdered sugar in 2 parts incorporating vanilla extract 1/2 way through and mix until incorporated (scraping down walls with rubber spatula each time). Add cinnamon and fold by hand into frosting. Serve within 24 hours.

To assemble

Generously frost each cupcake with pastry bag and cut 1/2-inch off the tip. Add edible gold glitter stars if desired.

On this blog I'm going to share all of my secrets for gold and life!

For the last several years, I've been helping women earn the extra money they're looking for. Right now, the price of gold is up so we can all benefit from selling old gold and throwing a party for our friends to make money too.

None of us could believe how much money we made from a little pile of mismatched and broken gold jewelry! Oh, and the extra 10% I made for having the party was just icing on the cake!
